The Royal Abbey of Chaalis is a former Cistercian abbey located in Fontaine-Chaalis, in the heart of the Ermenonville Forest, opposite the Mer de Sable, in the Oise department, Hauts-de-France region, approximately forty kilometers northeast of Paris.
